Bailey, our only child for now, has two loves in this world: squirrels and her worm toy. When she wakes up in the morning and I get her out of the bed (spoiled huh?) she immediately runs around to find her beloved worm toy. A couple of months ago, my grandparents kept Bailey for us while we were out of town. At that point, the worm toy had been so loved that it's head was coming off. Memommie was very worried that Bailey might choke, so she decided to cut the head off. Now that is her favorite part of the worm. She chews on it and even sleeps with it like a blanket. I have tried to replace the worm with a new one. I searched forever but could not find an exact replica. It is hopeless because she is totally devoted to her first love and does not have an interest in her new worm aka spiny rattler. Her other love is squirrels and the park across from our apartment is a haven for them. The squirrels are everywhere, and they will come up and eat out of your hands. So, when it is time to go outside, Bailey is beside herself hunting for squirrels. She walks around the fence and stops and just watches for them. If she spots one she begins whining and tries to chase them. Dogs are not allowed in the grass, but occasionally I break the rules to give her a little fun. Here are some pics.
