Farmer's Market
Directly across from our apartment building is Union Square Park. Almost every day of the week, at least in the summer, there is a Farmer's Market that is absolutely amazing. I have walked around in awe several times looking at all of the beautiful fruits, veggies, flowers, etc . You cannot believe all of the fun things they sell here. The selection looks like Central Market on steroids- it's a little overwhelming! Before today I had not taken the plunge and actually shopped here. Well, I am sold. It was so fun walking around, tasting samples, and buying from the local farmers. I bought some really fun things and I am excited to try all of it. Hopefully it will all taste as good as it looks. I want some of those "pickling" cucumbers(the little ones)...I can eat my weight in those! Beautiful veggies, fruit and the big 'ole sunflowers are gorgeous!
I know it was fun. Where is Bryant Park from your place? That is where GMA does their Friday AM concerts?
