The Rodgers: Back to School

My cousin Logan was accepted to the LLM program at NYU. This is an excellent program and we are so proud of him! Now, there is a minor detail that comes going back to school and that is a time warp. Yes, he has to adjust to living in a dorm. It had been several years since he has done this and I think it was quite a shock- for all of us. Of course on the website they display the newly renovated dorms with stainless steel appliances and pristine living conditions, but we all know how that goes. I think maybe 2 dorm rooms look like that and the rest have not been touched for at least 30 years. Well, the condition of the dorm called for some immediate action and Logan was lucky to have 4 girls on his team! We hit Bed Bath & Beyond and purchased several essentials. At one point, Logan said he saw all four of us go in different directions and he knew he was in trouble. One of the fun things in New York is getting to ride the escalator with your shopping cart. These Texas girls were easily entertained : ) We got back to the dorm room and did some major cleaning. His room looks great and I think he is ready to go!
